Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. If you have seen me recently you will have noticed I am now much healthier after eating less chips and running occasionally.

I decided to run the marathon this year to support Headway, a charity which has provided support to my family after my father suffered from a stroke last year which left him permanently brain damaged. I know they will be very grateful for any donations which you are able to make.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Headway - the brain injury association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
