Many thanks to all those who have supported me in this event to beat my personal target, I've had great support and can't thank my donators enough.

More than six months after the event I had an extra £500 donated by PZ Cussons of Stockport so many thanks to this company for the ongoing support.

I have many reasons to help Epilepsy Action raise awareness because I used to suffer from the condition and know exactly what impacts it brings to life in general.

I was lucky being one of only 4% of sufferers who was suitable to have surgery and given a 70% chance of becoming seizure free.

Thanks to my surgery in December 2002 I've not had any seizures and completely off medication so the least I can do now is to show my respect for the successful treatment and help others.
