Sam and I will struggle with the distance, 3 miles between us,(and the fact that we are also a hundred years old between us!) but being good northern lasses and with a bit more meat on us, we should manage the freezing water. Fabs is doing a shorter distance but being a south of France boy and all skin and bone, he will suffer with the cold!!  (i hope!)

None of us have done any open water swimming, EVER! 

Supporting Unseen was Fab's idea.  He wanted to help a charity that helped child slaves.  Unseen is fundraising to set up a safe house for children trafficked into the UK, many of them to become domestic servants   On average 49 children are rescued per month.
