Hello all, we're two students from University of Manchester and on 30th October we're taking part in the Manchester Jailbreak for Breast Cancer Care UK. Jailbreak involves getting as far away from a particular starting point in a given period of time without using any of your own money on travel. We'll be starting in Manchester and we have 30 hours to get as far away as possible. Past Jailbreakers have got to far off lands such as Hong Kong, New York & Australia! So we're going to try our best to go far as we can despite having lectures on Monday, all we ask from you is that you can part with a little bit of money to make our adventure worth it.
Our charity, Breast Cancer Care is a long established charity caring for those unfortunate enough to be diagnosed with breast cancer. They take care of everything from providing information and emotional support, bringing people affected by the disease together, campaigning for improvements in standards & care and promoting early detection. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lives, and Breast Cancer Care UK are doing great work into enriching their lives and making sure women detect signs of breast cancer early.
Our fundraising target is £300 and we're really keen to exceed that. Please donate anything you can, every little is appreciated!
Thanks, Simon & Jack
