MS Society Three Peaks Challenge · 16 February 2009

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

It's all over - we loved it! You can see the pictures here:

Andrew & Philip will take on the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales all within 24 hours. This trek covers 40kms and involves 2984m of ascent and descent covering Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.

This is in support of the MS Society. My dad was diagnosed with primary progressive multiple sclerosis in 1992. MS is the most common disabling neurological disorder among young adults & affects 85,000 in the UK.

The MS Society invest in innovative research with the hope of finding more effective treatments for MS and ultimately the cure. The MS society also provide respite care, a freephone helpline, information, grants and MS nurses. I am a committee member of the local Bexley & Dartford branch.

Please give generously. If you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
