We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be running in the BUPA London 10K run (yes, that is ten kilometres!) on the 31st of May 2010.  I volunteered to do this 10k run in aid for MIND, the mental health charity.  As one in four of us experiences some form of mental illness at some point in their lives, this is an issue that will affect everyone - directly or indirectly - we all benefit from their work.    My mum has suffered with depression and anxiety and she has told me of the times when she has been helped and supported by MIND.

MIND is a very well-run charity, operating to promote good mental health through a variety of different means.  Through 180 local branches, MIND offers direct support to people with mental health problems and provides information and advice to many people (including carers) every year.  MIND also offers highly professional training and advice to enable companies to get the best out of their workers, promoting good mental health in the workplace.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.  So please dig deep and donate for a very worthy cause!
