On July 11th 2009 an intrepid bunch of Appleton parents will attempt to climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. All in 24 hours. This entails walking 26 miles, climbing over 11000ft and driving 450 miles. Yes really - all in 24 hours! So why on earth would we want to put ourselves through this torture? To raise funds for our lovely village school and for UNICEF both of which are very worthy causes and deserve lots of your money. The school desperately needs money for outdoor teaching equipment, and UNICEF just need money.
All funds raised will be split evenly between the two charities. We would be most grateful for all donations whether big or small. Please give whatever you can.
A huge thank you from all the Appleton 3 peakers!
