<p class="MsoNormal">Our aim for this event is to generate substantial sums of money for charities that lie close to the ex-candidate’s hearts.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The racing will be taking part on <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Tuesday 24<sup>th</sup> May 2011 at Daytona Raceway in Esher, 20 Ex-candidates</strong> will be burning rubber representing 7 charities and for the ultimate title of karting champion.</p>

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">The Charities:</strong></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing">The St. James’s Place Foundation will be representing: UK Youth, The Prince’s Trust, Rays of Sunshine, Alzheimer’s Society, The Royal British Legion, Orchid & St. James’s Place Foundation.</p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing"> <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">The competition means that only 3 of the 7 charities represented will benefit from the event.</strong></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing"> 1<sup>st</sup> Place will receive 50% of the total donations raised for their team’s charity.</p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing">2<sup>nd</sup> Place will receive 30% of the total donations raised for their team’s charity.</p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing">3<sup>rd</sup> Place will receive 20% of the total donations raised for their team’s charity.</p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing">Spectators from the general public may attend to watch the race on the day, but there will be a £5 entry donation in aid of the events charities.</p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">The racing will begin at 3pm and will finish with a podium presentation at 5.45pm.</strong></p>
