I am mostly in the water at this time of year anyhow BUT usually in a 5mm wet with booties, gloves and hood. However on New Year's Day it will only be in the speedos. Surely that's worth the entrance fee! Just don't let that image put you off your prawn sandwiches folks!</p> <p>I asked Karen, my wee sis, to come and support and she said "Yes BUT I'm doing it too! I've always wanted to do this. Any excuse to go shopping for a new bikini. Do you think my milk will free freeze" ?</p> <p>Alan, Karen's husband, just shook his head and knew he was resigned to signing up also. Alan simply said "It'll make the pain of watching Chelsea playing football seem like a gentle summer breeze. Sign me up".</p> <p>So there you have it, we're taking a dip for Clic Sargent on New Year's Day at East Strand at Portrush.
