London to Paris cycle challenge

Elizabeth Castle is raising money for Leonard Cheshire Disability
Donations cannot currently be made to this page

London-Paris by Bike · 6 January 2006

We are Leonard Cheshire - supporting individuals to live, learn and work as independently as they choose, whatever their ability. Led by people with experience of disability, we are at the heart of local life - opening doors to opportunity, choice and support. Registered Charity Number 218186

Story

In 4 days in June this year I cycled 295 miles from Marble Arch in London to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. This total distance (excluding ferry!) was roughly equivalent to cycling from London to Brighton and halfway back for 4 consecutive days.

I did this for Leonard Cheshire, the leading charity for people with disabilities, for whom I hope to raise at least £2,500.

I'd really appreciate your support - everything you give will go straight to the charity, and if you can give via this site it's easy to add Gift Aid, which increases the value of the donation by 28% at no extra cost to yourself. Cheques also warmly received!

Take care

Nick
