In April 2012 I will participate in "The World's Coolest Marathon" - 26.2 miles on foot at the Geographic North Pole. With only 6-12ft of snow and ice separating me from 12,000 of Arctic Ocean (there is no land at the North Pole), I will be trying to perform at my best in subzero temperatures in one of the most remote locations on the planet. Not only will I need to be at my fittest yet, I will need to somehow prepare myself mentally for this challenge. And why am I doing all this?
