WE DID IT!!!  A very big thank you to all who sponsored us, it is very much appreciated.  The run itself went fine, even though the weather was even worse than we'd expected.  Still, a few beers managed to replace all those lost carbs!  We've also added a picture of part of the route - click on 'photos' - that bridge was steeper than it looks!

 

We are running the Midnight Sun Marathon in the Norwegian Arctic in support of 'Combat Stress' and would very much appreciate any sponsorship, however small.  Combat Stress provides support for veterans of conflict and are seeing an enormous increase in demand for their help.

Unlike many charities, Combat Stress’s achievements are not readily visible, as their successes lie in the absence of veterans suffering family and mental breakdown, the absence of those becoming homeless or ending up in prison and the absence of those taking their own lives – sadly, all too common.
