Sport Relief 2012 · 25 March 2012

RSI Action is the only national charity providing help, support and advice for repetitive strain injuries (RSI) in the UK. RSI Action is working to raise awareness of RSI conditions and aims to achieve major change in the way sufferers are diagnosed, treated and supported.

Story

On 25th March I am running 3 miles for Sport Relief and RSI Action. For every pound that is donated to RSI Action, I will donate 50p of my own money to Sport Relief (up to a maximum of £500, in case the donations are unexpectedly generous). If you have RSI or are in a high risk group (e.g. if you spend too much time on the computer), you can also join RSI Action for £10 a year - see their site. This means you'll receive their newsletter. If you do this, let me know and I'll donate £20 to Sport Relief.

RSI Action (http://www.rsiaction.org.uk/) is a charity dedicated to raising awareness of Repetitive Strain Injury and helping sufferers. Before I developed RSI in June 2007, I had no idea how severe its effects could be. In retrospect it was obvious that I was at high risk of developing the condition, given the amount of time I spent on the computer, my poor posture and lack of exercise.
