I have now completed my round Britain rail ride and have visited all the four extreme stations. Thurso in the north, Arisaig (near Mallaig) in the West, Penzance in the south and Folkstone in the east. I must admit that I was a wee bit tired towards the end but I had a thouroughly good time. My timetable was followed to the letter and there were no delays or missed connections AT ALL! Well done to all the rail companies - excellent.
