The Squadron have decided to complete an arduous charity event with all proceeds being donated to Hounds for Heroes. Considering the climatic environment, 35+ degree heat, dust clouds, altitude and not to mention a 12 hour shift pattern, this is no mean feat.</em></span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;"><em>Hounds for Heroes is a fantastic newly established charity, that provides specially trained assistance dogs to injured and disabled men and women of the UK armed forces and civilian Emergency services.</em></span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;"><em>For further information take a&nbsp;look at their website:<a href="http://www.houndsforheroes.com/">http://www.houndsforheroes.com/</a>&nbsp;</em></span></p> <p><span style="color: #008000;"><em>So what is the event?&nbsp;Members of our Squadron will embark on a <strong>13,128 mile</strong> virtual journey around every Royal Signals Unit with more than 30 personnel around the world throughout the month of September. Land and sea will be covered either by running, cycling or rowing where applicable. This equates to&nbsp;<strong>15.5 miles</strong> per day for EACH member for 25 days or faster!!!.
