Enable's mission is to create an equal society for every person with a learning disability. We are committed to amplifying the voices of people with learning disabilities and their families, to achieve positive change, through our grassroots and national campaigning.

Story

Hello, my name is Richard Bebb and I am currently cycling well over a thousand miles around Scotland to raise money for ENABLE.  ENABLE is Scotland's leading charity for helping people with learning disabilities.  I am raising money for this charity in tribute to the people with learning disabilities that I have been working with for the past year.  They gave me the most enjoyable and worthwhile years work that I have ever had.

I am raising money by cycling to every professional football club in Scotland, plus the fifteen teams of the highland league, fifty-seven clubs in total.  I began in Wick on August the fourth, and I finish at Hibernian on Sepember the first.  This event combines my love of football with my love of travelling, and it also means that I am leaving the remnants of my beer belly amidst stunning scenery (when the weather actually lets me see it).  If you would like to follow my progress and see more photos then go to www.myspace.com/aroundthegrounds2
