The Spartan South Super

the race provides 13+k / 20+ obstacle riddled battlefield of insane terrain , combined with obstacles to test your physical strength & mental resolve.

this challenge is designed to push you to your limits , show you the strength inside and lead you across the finish line..

RUBY LAURA YOUNGS JOURNEY.

At her second birthday party , Ruby happily enjoyed all the excitement and atmosphere , Rubys parents rob and Victoria also big brother Freddy this was a special day

not long after rob and Victoria were aware that Rubys behaviour had changed , she became quiet and withdrawn , also refusing food - she was infamous for her huge appetitre

other symptoms included wheezy chest , ruby began a course of prescribed allergy medication .this seemed to help but her appetite was not improving

Rubys parents were enjoying a weekend away , when they received a call from anxious grandparents , the local pharmacist had seen ruby and thought she looked jaundiced ruby was clingy, unhappy  and was vomiting . Victoria and rob immediately returned home and took her to the A&E Department

they found ou their daughter had Stage 4 , high risk neuroblastoma - an aggressive childhood cancer ..

as with more than half of children diagnosed with neuroblastoma , the cancer had spread throughout her body by the time she was diagnosed , making her condition one of the most difficult kinds of childhood cancer to treat .
