Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

We had a fantastic evening at the Art Auction on 19 May in Birmingham. THANK YOU to everybody to who was there and contributing to the success of the event.  We raised over £13,200 on the night ... a really great result bringing us tantalisingly close to our target!

We would particularly like to thank the artists for their commitment and enthusiasm. If you would like to see some of the brilliant art they donated then you can still do so here: www.artauctionbirmingham.co.uk.

Leukaemia can affect anybody at any time and, although survival rates are improving, only about 25% of those diagnosed can expect a cure.  We really want to do something about that and providing funds for the experts at the Leukaemia Centre is the way to do it.

We are now very close to hitting our target of £14,000.  PLEASE HELP US TO GET THERE IF YOU CAN ... every £1 makes a difference.

THANK YOU from the art auction committee: Suzanne Barnes, Gavin Buckley, Caroline Griffin, Jake Grimley, Tim Kitchen, John Latham, Susan McNally, Brenda Parkerson, Jo Sheridan, Mark Townsend and Ruth Ward.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to support us: Cure Leukaemia gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
