Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The time for my annual fund raiser for Queenscourt Hospice is nearly upon us.  For those of you not in the know, the Hospice is a wonderful place that offers compassion and dignity to patients with cancer.  My lovely Mum (the lady pictured) and my Grandma both spent their last days there and the care they received is something even Master Card couldn't buy!

This years event has the theme of Ascot - think glamour, Audrey Hepburn in black and white and you'll get the picture.  The event will take place on Saturday 17th April at the Fleetwood Hesketh Sports and Social Club in Southport.  For the bargain price of £10 you can buy a ticket that will entitle you to an evening of great live music courtesy of the Gypsy Beats, DJ. raffle, prizes, games etc.  Tickets available from me, my brother, Mushy or the venue.

However, if you can't come but would like to donate please feel free.  It costs £3,000 a day just to keep the Hospice open.  I hope to raise half of that on the night of the Ball and the rest on here.  Dig deep, the Hospice is worth every penny.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
