Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to click on this link! This summer, I'll be cycling from London to Paris in order to raise money for Breast Cancer Now. Along with a group of Loughborough students, I'll be setting off in London, heading across the channel and through the French countryside to then arrive at the heart of Paris at the Eiffel Tower - completing over 200 miles in 3 days.

At least 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime and around 12,000 women die of this disease each year. Thanks to research, more people are surviving breast cancer than ever before. More than 80% of women with breast cancer are still alive five years after diagnosis but around 50,000 women are still diagnosed each year.

Breast Cancer Now, the UK's largest breast cancer charity, is dedicated to funding research for this devastating disease - how to prevent it, how to detect it earlier, and how to treat it effectively at every stage. Their aim is that by 2050, any individual who develops breast cancer will live.

I want to be part of a movement that makes this ambition a reality, and would be so appreciative of any support at all - every little bit really does count.
