I have started to raise money for Horseworld after seeing for myself the fantastic work the Horseworld staff do with the rescued horses, ponies & donkeys. Many of these animals come to horseworld in a dreadful state, having been neglected, abused & completely closed off to the world around them. I have seen a mare come in to horseworld, she could barely stand, she was emaciated with every bone in her body poking out. The staff at horseworld gave this poor mare a life which was pain free, I watched over time as she gained weight & began to come back to the world around her. NO animal should ever have to endure this cruelty.
I have set up a fund raising campaign in the memory of my son Ashley Brixey. He was tragically killed in a car crash on 03/10/2004 aged 20 years. He had been a back seat passenger of the car he died in. My life will never be the same without Ashley but to do something positive in his memory gives some comfort. By making a donation to The Ashley Brixey Horseworld fund you will be helping horseworld to provide the greatest care for these animals but also paying tribute to my son Ashley.
