The aim of Friends of Ashmount is to provide extra resources and opportunities for students aged 4 to 19 years with special educational needs who attend Ashmount School in Loughborough.

Story

On Saturday 7th May, a group of volunteers will cycle 14 miles from Ashmount School, Loughborough, to the Leicester Tigers Ground.

The ride will be to raise money for Ashmount School and all riders will be sponsored.

The date is the last Aviva Premiership match of the season and the group will be led by staunch Tigers fan and Head of Ashmount School, Dave Thomas - dressed in full Tigers kit!

Dave said he would like to establish strong links between the school and the club - both of whom share the aim of being champions in their own sector.

"We will be celebrating our recent "outstanding" Ofsted inspection and hopefully seeing Tigers on their way to winning the Premiership again. The school and the club both aspire to be the best and both have tremendous supporters. All money raised will go direct to the school to make our provision even better."

For more information on this event, please contact the school:

http://www.ashmount.leics.sch.uk/

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
