Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I was born in Uganda and it has been my ambition to climb the Highest Mountain in Africa for a very long time and the plan is to climb it to celebrate my 60th Birthday.

This challenging trek takes us along the beautiful Machame route approaching from the South , through dense tropical rainforest all the way up to mighty snow capped summit at 5.895m (19,340 feet) This is a tough but spectacular route. We will be trekking for 7 consecutive days over mixed terrain in varying temperatures at different altitudes.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.  Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Rainbows will be paying the £1875 towards my costs from all the sponsorship monies that I raise. I will cover all other costs.

About the charity

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.
