Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who takes care of an orphan, whether he is his relative or a stranger, will be in Jannah with me like these two". The narrator, Malik bin Anas, raised his forefinger and middle finger for illustration. [Muslim].
Assalaamu alaikum, welcome, and thank you for visiting the Asian Forum Orphan Sponsorship page. Many Asian Forum members would like to sponsor an orphan, but being students, unemployed or struggling in the recession, they cannot afford to do so. However, we can unite together and chip in to sponsor at least one orphan - which is why we've created this page!
Alhumdu-lillah, Islamic Help's Worldwide Orphan Sponsorship programme costs only £360 per year for each orphan. There are several thousand registered AF members, hundreds of whom post regularly. Some of them are already sponsoring one orphan and would love to sponsor another but cannot due to financial constraints. We can all contribute something, and with so many registered members we can sponsor more than one orphan, insha-Allah!
Knowing from previous experience how generous Asian Forum members are, we're confident we can raise £3,600 to sponsor 10 orphans by the end of Ramadhan, insha-Allah. If each member makes the sincere intention then Allah will make it easy for us to do so!
Please donate as generously as you can this Ramadhan, and when you donate please tick the box to indicate that you wish to allow the page creator to see your email address. This will enable us to email you details of the orphan/s who our money will go towards, so you can see for yourself what a difference you are making. It will not be used for any other purpose without your consent.
