Story
Summer 2014 left Gaza with 2100+ dead and 10000+ injured. According to the UN 7 in 10 of these casualties were civilians. UN chief stated that the Gaza destruction is 'beyond description' and worse than the last war. One of the greatest struggles was the one endured by Gaza's Medics. With such limited resources, it would even be difficult to provide sufficient health care to a population that does not suffer the damages of war: both the immediate and long-term.
Therefore, we have chosen to climb Mount Snowdon to raise money for a much needed Intensive Care Unit with Human Appeal International. I have personally witnessed the great work which this organization offers in Gaza. They have been working in Gaza for more than 10 years providing humanitarian help where needed, even when their own lives are at risk.
The 25/10/14 is the day that I will climb the highest mountain in wales for the first time. We are aiming to collectively raise 20K for the intensive care unit and a further 10K for ten hospital beds. By sponsoring me your full donation will be contributing to this great cause.
