Our team of 5 Extreme walkers have just completed the Welsh 3000s.

The walk involved ascending all peaks over 3000 feet in the Snowdonia area in 24 hrs. In total there are 15 with an approximate total ascent of 13,000 feet, which is just less than half the height of Everest (45% to be precise).  Our official time from the bottom of snowdon to the 15 peak was 13.5 hrs although  the total walk time was 15 hrs.

The money we are raising is for the Welsh Air Ambulance. Fortunately we didnt need to use them, but there's always next time!
