Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for the British Heart Foundation.
The charity is very personal to me, as I lost my dad at the age of 46 to heart disease when I was 14. I have therefore, decided to run the Paris marathon on April 10 in memory of my dad and have been preparing for it mentally and physically for the past 6 months. There's been a lot of highs, lows, tears, sweat and smiles along the way, and am now looking forward to the big event itself.
Heart disease is the country's biggest killer, every 6 minutes someone dies of a heart attack. More than 2.6 million people in the UK live with heart disease. We all know someone who has had heart problems. The British Heart Foundation does some amazing life-saving work every single day. Help me raise money for the nation's heart charity to carry out the pioneering research and wonderful work that goes into finding a cure to help people not only in the UK, but all around the world.
