Thank you for visiting my fundraising page... I've been told I've finally lost it !
In December 2008 I will be taking part in the biggest challenge of my life - I'll be joining a crew aiming to break the existing record for rowing across the Atlantic Ocean.
This crack crew of elite rowers (and me) will be leaving Puerto Morgan, Gran Canaria aiming to land in Port St Charles, Barbados less than 31 days later. The current record is 33 days, 7 hours and 30 minutes, but getting to Barbados in less than 31 days will make us the world record holders, and the first ever crew to row across an ocean in less than a month - ocean rowing's 4 minute mile !
By taking part in this amazing challenge, I'm also aiming to raise as much money as possible for the charity Mencap.
