Woodvale Atlantic Row 2009 · 8 June 2009

We care for children & young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambs, Essex, Norfolk & Suffolk and support their families. This can be at home, in hospital or at one of three hospices at Milton, The Treehouse and The Nook. We rely on voluntary donations for the majority of our income.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

If you've come here through our website you'll hopefully already know all about our little adventure, if not, you're more than welcome to visit us at: www.atlanticrow2009.com  where you can hopefully learn all there is to know about both the race itself and our reasons for getting involved.

In a nutshell we're just two friends who have set ourselves the somewhat daunting task of rowing non-stop, unaided, and unassisted for 3,000 miles across the middle of the Atlantic Ocean as part of the 2009 Woodvale Atlantic Rowing Race.

As we are trying to raise money for two charities we consequently have two fundraising pages. Any donations made through this page will go directly to East Anglia's Children's Hospices , however, if you would also like to donate to the Multiple Sclerosis Society please visit us at: http://www.justgiving.com/atlanticrow2009ms.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way of sponsoring us and of ensuring that the Multiple Sclerosis Society will get your money faster. What's more if you’re a UK taxpayer Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, will be added to your donation.

So please dig deep and sponsor us now.

Thank you in advance for whatever you're able to give. It's really very much appreciated and we're most grateful.
