We offer care, support and information to anyone affected by breast cancer

Story

We did it!  At 11.12pm on Saturday 16th February 2008, we crossed the finish line of the race at Cape Shirley lighthouse, Antigua - winning the women's pairs class. Our official race time was 76 days, 11 hours and 12 minutes.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please help us to reach our target and sponsor us online as we aim to raise £100,000 for Breast Cancer Care and cover the cost of the event.

Both our families have been affected by breast cancer and we wanted to get involved in raising awareness and funds. None of the normal fundraising event appealed, so we've decided on something a little more extreme - rowing the Atlantic!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Breast Cancer Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor us now!

For more information, please visit www.atlanticrowingchallenge.co.uk where you can read our blogs from the challenge and find out more about the horrific capsize that we suffered 300 miles from the finish line.

Many thanks for your support. Lin & Rachel.

P.S. If you donate £25+ and would like to receive our monthly newsletter, you will need to send your email address to us at rachel@atlanticrowingchallenge.co.uk. Thanks.
