Spinal Research in conjunction with www.knobblies.org (a big trail bike club) are organising a day trip to Le Touquet, France. It will take place on Saturday 7th June leaving between 8.30 - 9.30am from Eurotunnel in Folkestone and coming back early evening.

Le Touquet is a dangerous place to be, just as well it is only a day trip. It was once a lovely market town, unfortunately it is now a much less desirable place, it is full of french people to start with and now on the 7th of June it will be inundated with those nasty, lairy biker types, you know the kind, the ones that eat small children just for breakfast and then go on to rape and pillage, burning down houses just for the fun of it, breaking every law imaginable with gay abandon.......;-)

Now let`s be serious for a moment.......I don`t do charity to be honest, I am a bit of a miserable git as all my aquaintances know, I would have said friends, but I don`t have any due to me being that totally miserable git.....This is why I doubt that I will come nowhere near to raising the target of £1000.00 squids ........Just that I have suffered with a very bad back for the last 18 months after my 'off' in Belgium, this saw the driver of the offending car being successfully prosecuted under criminal law  

Now I know that a bad back is nothing compared to how some suffer with their spinal injuries and this is the main reason for me now coming out of the closet so to speak......

So please think very hard about just how much a few pounds are to you and what they could really do for someone who has been less fortunate than yourself.......Not much you may say, but collectively those few pounds really could change somebody`s life.
