ONE CATWALK, 20 INSPIRING MODELS, ONE PURPOSE

Can't believe this is now all over, I had an absolutely amazing experience and one of the most memorable days of my life, we managed to raise £127,000, a fantastic  amount.  Thank you to all who sponsored me including my offline donations I raised over £800. Thanks to my sister-in-law Gemma for her help in obtaining raffle prizes and for the cake day she had at work. Thank you to my sister Shirley and Andy for supporting me at the lunchtime event (and providing the video) and to my husband Steven, Diane, Graham, Susan, Stewart, Linda, David, Sandra Campbell and Sandra Scott for supporting me at the evening event.

On Thursday 30th September I will be modelling in the Breast Cancer Care Fashion Show which will be my first time ever on a catwalk! All of the models who take part in this special event, like me, have experienced a diagnosis of Breast Cancer.  This will be an amazing experience for me and I am so grateful for this opportunity to give something back and say thank you for the support I have received over the last two and a half years from Breast Cancer Care, my family, friends and colleagues, it marks the end of my two and a half years of treatment/surgery and I can't think of a better way to close this chapter of my life. The Show is an amazing occasion of fashion, fundraising and inspiration proving that you can look and feel great after a diagnosis of breast cancer.  Last year's show was a fantastic event raising over £145,000.  This money made a vital difference to Breast Cancer Care and helped them to provide specialist information and support services across the UK to anyone diagnosed with Breast Cancer.  These services are free and benefit over 46,000 people every year ensuring that they receive the best possible support, treatment and care.
