Aussie Channel Challenge by Team Budgy.
By the time your mid-thirties arrive, the list of ambitions harboured as a
10 year old tends to have faded from view. Winning Wimbledon is no
longer a viable option. Fortunately, this means there is space for another
obvious project - swimming the English Channel. Swimming the English
Channel doesn't need anything apart from a good dose of enthusiasm and
heaps of training, although being able to swim helps quite a lot.
Which is why we have decided to swim the English Channel in July of 2006, as members of a three man relay team called “Team Budgy”, for charity. We'll be donating to a UK and Australian Charity and have chosen The Princes Trust for the UK. Clearly a project like this goes nowhere without the generous support of you and every single person you know!
