Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Inexplicably I have ended up with my name down to run with 29 other RLB, EPG and LOCOG fitness fanatics taking on the Mens Health Survival of the Fittest Challenge at Battersea Park on 12th Nov 2011.

The challenge is a 10km run / assault course.

My challenge is I haven't run more than a 100 yard dash to catch a train since I was at school and my chances of completing the course are probably not good and if I was a betting man I certainly wouldn't bet on me. However, I thought that perhaps you might like to encourage me with sponsorship to the point of embarrassment so I do not get cold feet and back out.

I'd like to raise a little money for the British Heart Foundation. My mother died of a heart attack unexpectedly some years back and I'm about to push myself a bit closer too something similar! Anything you feel you can spare, small change, large denomination bank notes or gold bullion please don't be shy.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for your generosity.

David
