Do you remember when Comic Relief climbed Kilimanjaro this year?  Well, I rashly signed up to the trip the very next day!!!  On reflection, perhaps not the most restful of holidays...   I go on 19th June and decided last week I had better engage the help of a personal trainer ;).

Since it may be one of the most daring feats of my life, I have decided to raise some money and awareness for my favourite charity, Maternity Worldwide, which does vital work in Ethiopia, reducing mortality in childbirth.  Every amount makes a difference - a sponsorship of £15 will cover the costs of a safe childbirth in hospital, £40 a Caesarean Section and £500 the annual wages of a junior midwife.

So I would be delighted if you would consider donating to the cause.  The trip is fully paid for by me so any money goes straight to the charity.
