We are aiming to raise £20,000 for the British Heart Foundation, aiding with their continued efforts in the areas of research, education, care and awareness of cardiovascular health. We chose the British Heart Foundation as it is a cause that we feel strongly about and a number of us have supported for a few years. In addition, we feel that the British Heart Foundation's message of healthy living and a good heart strongly ties to the challenge that we are embarking on.
Project Cycle will involve a group of ten AgustaWestland first year graduates completing a charity cycle from Cascina Costa in Northern Italy to Yeovil in the South-West of England, linking two of the main sites of AgustaWestland. The 810 mile / 1303 km cycle will begin 13th September 2014 and take place across four countries including Italy, Switzerland, France and the UK.
To raise money we are organising static bike rides across the UK, hoping to raise money whilst increasing awareness of our project and the British Heart Foundation.
We would really appreciate any support that people are willing to give and help the British Heart Foundation continue their good work.
