<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit&nbsp;the AXA PPP healthcare&nbsp;JustGiving page for the 3 Peaks Challenge, commencing on 10th June 2011.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>This year is an important year for us as not only are we attempting to climb the 3 highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales, but we aim to do this within just 24 hours. We are supporting two charities this year, and this page is dedicated to supporting AXA PPP healthcare's chosen charity for 2011, Headway (Tunbridge Wells &amp; District).</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Headway are a registered charity providing information, support, and services to people who have sustained a brain injury, as well as their family and carers. They aim to provide social, leisure and therapeutic activities for brain injured people at Headway, to help achieve the highest possible level of functioning and quality of life. They also aim to provide respite for families and carers.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Headway are now established in a new home in the Culverden area of Tunbridge Wells after being told to leave the Pembury Hospital site in 2007. Headway get a grant from social services to look after the costs of the day therapists. The rest of the running of the centre is down to public donations (about 40% of their income).</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
