The South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust Charitable fund is a well-established fund which helps to finance some services, equipment and enhancements that would not normally be expected in an NHS hospital. We are grateful to our fundraisers and supporters for their donations.

<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p class="StyleArial11ptJustifiedBefore135ptAfter5pt" style="margin: 1.35pt 0cm 5pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Aylesford Unit</span>&nbsp;is a high quality and rapidly expanding cancer service providing swift diagnosis and treatment services for most cancers including blood cancers.&nbsp;&nbsp;There established teams work with each patient to ensure they receive the most appropriate and timely treatment for their condition.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;&nbsp;They</span> aim to deliver excellent cancer care to our patients and carers.</span></p> <p class="StyleArial11ptJustifiedBefore135ptAfter5pt" style="margin: 1.35pt 0cm 5pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Aylesford Unit is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built Ambulatory Cancer Unit.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>It provides day case and outpatient treatment facilities for many patients with a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of cancer. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;</span>Additionally, it houses a dedicated information centre for patients, carers and staff.</span></p> <p class="StyleArial11ptJustifiedBefore135ptAfter5pt" style="margin: 1.35pt 0cm 5pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">There&nbsp;Macmillan Information and Support Centre aims to improve the quality of life for people affected by cancer.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;&nbsp;They</span> provide information and support to cancer patients, families, friends, carers and hospital staff.</span></p> <p class="StyleArial11ptJustifiedBefore135ptAfter5pt" style="margin: 1.35pt 0cm 5pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: small; color: #004080; font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: small; color: #004080; font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: small; color: #004080; font-family: Calibri;"><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial;">&pound;10 would purchase magazines, DVD's and CD's to help make patients treatment more comfortable in the unit.</span></span></span></span></span></p> <p class="StyleArial11ptJustifiedBefore135ptAfter5pt" style="margin: 1.35pt 0cm 5pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: small; color: #004080; font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: small; color: #004080; font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: small; color: #004080; font-family: Calibri;"><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial;">&pound;50 would buy a thermometer which is a vital piece of equipment.</span></span></span></span></span></p> <p class="StyleArial11ptJustifiedBefore135ptAfter5pt" style="margin: 1.35pt 0cm 5pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: small; color: #004080; font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: small; color: #004080; font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: small; color: #004080; font-family: Calibri;"><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial;">&pound;100 would be put towards purchasing a larger piece of equipment such as a blood pressure monitor which costs &pound;1,500 for each one.
