Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As members of the Ayrshire Yeomanry we are fortunate to be part of a close knit team,we are a family, our bond of friendship and comradeship is second to none.

One of our OWN needs our help and support to raise the funds necessary to carry out life saving treatment for his 11 year old daughter in the USA.

Vanessa's bravery, courage and resolve shown during her intensive teatment has been inspirational. Her story has touched all our hearts and has inspired us to do all we can to help acheive her goal.

The Ayrshire Yeomanry Squadron past and present stand beside Vanessa and her family and will continue to support her cause until her mission is done.

To that aim, we are conducting a sponsored walk of Hadrians wall on the weekend of 13th 14th and 15th of April 2012. The walk from Newcastle Upon Tyne to the Bowness on Solway is approximately 84 miles (134km). We plan to walk 28 miles a day taking three days to complete our task.

Please support us in our event, please give generously and please help save a little girl's life. To read more about Vanessa's challenge visit www.justgiving.com/vanessa-appeal
