RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Bobby and Alasdair will be cycling from Whitehaven to Whitby over a week carrying everything we need with them. The total distance is about 200 miles. They take on a different cycle each year to raise funds for a different charity.

This year they have chosen to raise funds for the brave people of the RNLI who risk there lives to save others. Alasdair normally collects for the lifeboats in his area but this year the collection is not taking place so Bobby and Al have decided to raise funds with this cycle.

Thank you for any money you can spare for this very worth while cause.

Just think, buy donating you help save lives :0)

There is a Blog for the cycle http://whitehaven2whitby.blogspot.co.uk/
