<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><em><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; font-style: italic;">In September 2011, a group of mad people will embark on a bike ride from Basingstoke to Paris for our chosen charity &lsquo;Children in Need&rsquo;. </span></span></em></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><em><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; font-style: italic;">The mission of &lsquo;Children in Need&rsquo; is to make a positive change to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK. The vision is for a society where each and every child and young person is supported to realise their potential. </span></span></em></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><em><span style="color: #1c1c1c; font-family: Calibri; font-size: x-small;"><span style="color: #1c1c1c; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; font-style: italic;">For every penny you give to &lsquo;Children in Need&rsquo;, a penny will go to children experiencing behavioural or psychological disorders; living in poverty or suffering through illness, distress, abuse or neglect.</span></span></em><em><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-style: italic;"> </span></span></em></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 140%; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><em><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: x-small;"><span style="color: black; line-height: 140%; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; font-style: italic;">You only need to watch the programme to be compelled to donate, even if you're not a parent, there are always others less fortunate than us and our families, and a small amount can make all the difference. </span></span></em></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><em><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; font-style: italic;">We leave Shire UK Head Office in Basingstoke on Friday 30 September 2011, and after what will undoubtedly be a challenging 190 miles, aim to arrive at Shire France Head Office located in Paris on Sunday 2 October 2011.</span></span></em></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 140%; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><em><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: x-small;"><span style="color: black; line-height: 140%; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; font-style: italic;">Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
