24 June 2013 RAISING OUR GOAL!

Hello eveyone!

We are so pleased with the progress that we have made in the first 2 months of this fundraiser.  Thank you so much for your continued support.  Recently we heard that EACH had reevaluated their funding needs for the coming year and because the amount they need to raise per day has gone up, we have decided to step up to the plate and increase our efforts and our goal.  Read about our new challenges for the month of July and ways that you can get involved.  Join in and let us know what you're doing or just let us know that you are behind all of us.

Excitement is in the air. The birth of a ROYAL BABY is a time of great joy. For the online royal community, it is also the perfect time to get together, reflect & give thanks. So how do you ring the bells, sound the drums and fire the cannons online? In honour of Baby Cambridge, a team of royal blogs (see below) is raising funds for East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH)Let's celebrate the birth of Prince William and Kate's first child by helping another in need!

ABOUT EACH: The Duchess of Cambridge is the Royal Patron of EACH. And it is easy to make a difference in the lives of the children and families they support.

Did you know that:

£5 / $7.50 pays for art and craft materials for a session of specialist play

£10  /  $15 allows for catering staff to prepare and cook meals for family members staying at the hospice

£37 / $56 provides an hour of music therapy, stimulating movement and encouraging the children to express their feelings and emotions.

£74 / $110 pays for 2 hours of bereavement support for a family member

£296 / $450 pays for 8 hours of short break care, allowing families a chance to rest, spend time with other family members and recharge their batteries.

Think about it. Could you maybe take lunch to work one day this week, and use the money to fund an hour of arts and crafts for some sick kids?  Saving a little over £1 a day could pay for an hour of music therapy.

The Baby Cambridge Fundraiser is a TEAM effort spearheaded by these blogs:

          Duchess Kate (

          Kate Middleton Style (

          What Kate Wore (

          British Royals (

          A Petite Princess (

We will continue to have many fun opportunities and surprises throughout the summer in support of the fundraiser.  Visit and follow us with social media to learn more about this unprecedented endeavor.

Whether you're a royalist, a Kate fashion enthusiast, a grateful blog follower, or simply someone who wants to celebrate the future king or queen due in July... join us, have fun, and make a difference today!
