Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 17th April 2010, I'm taking on the swim of my life and have entered Swimathon 2010, the world's biggest fundraising swim.

Venue: Andersonstown Leisure Centre

Time: 10:00am

I will be swimming 5km (200 lengths) and all monies raised through Justgiving.com will be in aid of Polycystic Kidney Disease. This is the only charity in the UK dedicated to the concerns of people affected by Polycystic Kidney Disease - PKD - a range of inherited, incurable renal conditions.

 http://www.pkdcharity.org.uk/index.html

Both myself and Joseph were born with PKD, and it was this disease which lead to Joseph's time with us being cut short. I am hoping to raise as much money as possible to help;

- provide information, advice and support to those affected by Polycystic Kidney Disease

- fund research into determining the causes of PKD, discovering treatments and a cure

- raise awareness of PKD, providing information about PKD to patients, the public, the medical community and the media

    Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

    So please dig deep and donate now.

    Thanks so much,

    Grant
