Back to the League · 1 June 2006

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

To 'celebrate' Hereford United getting back into the Football League I am going to cycle to every League 2 team we are going to play in the 2006/2007 season. Having looked at the route I thought it would be a good idea if I called in on every Premier League Club as well. At the last count I am going to visit 61 clubs!! This will mean cycling nearly 1500 miles in 3 weeks in November!

Every pound and penny you send will go to the Hereford and District Branch of the MS Society to support members and our new MS nurse Del Thomas who was appointed in September.

I always pay my own expenses as it's my holiday!!

Please sponsor me!!

About me

I am a 54 years old farmer (pictured centre back) and am chairman of the MSS branch. My wife Eunice (pictured centre front) has MS. I have helped raise over £30000 for the branch by running the London Marathon in 2001 and 2003, the New York Marathon in 2001, The Great North Run in 2002. When the knees gave out I got on my bike and cycled from Land's End to John o'Groats in November 2004.
