On the 18th February we're off to Banjul, in the Gambia, Africa. Two idiots in a 22 year old car with badgers painted on the side. 4,000 miles through Europe, North Africa, the Sahara and a minefield. You get the idea...
We are raising money for charity in two ways. Our car and equipment will be auctioned when (if) we make it to Banjul towards two charities:
Association of Small-Scale Enterprises in Tourism (ASSET)
Gambian National Olympic Committee (GNOC)
What we ask is that you just make a small donation to Cancer Research UK. In return we will put your name somewhere on the car which will end up somewhere in Africa. Or if you make it to our leaving party / are in South London, then come and sign it yourself!
And the added bonus is that for every £1 you can give here, the UK government will give us the tax back, so Cancer Research gets £1.28.
And you can be sure - your sponsorship will go straight to Cancer Research UK, and will in no way pay for the costs of our trip - thats down to us! So please sponsor us now! Thanks for all your help! Benja and Denis
