Thanks everyone for your support, finished the race in an amazing 1:47  smashing my goal time ! Out paced my start group and finished 2091 out of nearly 9000 other racers!  Bring on the Edinburgh Marathon.

I am Bailey, although many of you may know me as Keith Fitzpatrick.

4 years ago I used to weigh over 19 stone.. scary, I know. well thanks to a wake up call in the form of a foxy lady, who is now my lovely wife, I made some huge changes to my lifestyle. 

We have a big history of heart disease in my family so in order to combat that and be the healthiest me I can be, I am now a proud vegan and have ditched the playstation in favour of running.

through these changes I have shed 7 stone and so far am up to about 12 miles .. still a way to go before september!

My inspiration for the running is my dad and I hope one day to equal his best marathon time!

I am running on behalf of the Hilton in the Community Foundation (for whom my wife volunteers and is very committed to) and  www.withkids.org a local Glasgow charity working in the east end to make a real difference to children and their families.
