Story
In June 2013, Jon Dunckley and Simon McNamee will cycle from John O'Groats to Lands End. That's over 1000 miles and over 100 miles a day.
12 months ago, neither of us had ridden a bike in 20 years... so why, you might well ask, are we doing this?
The answer is simple... we are raising funds for an amazing charity...
Zoë's Place Baby Hospice provides respite, palliative and end of life care to families and their children aged 0-5 who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
They afford each individual respect and dignity regardless of gender, race, culture, religious beliefs or disability and the Coventry hospice is funded by charity with very little Government funding. They rely on the kind support of the public - people like you!
We are just two bald blokes (and one more hirsuite support driver) who are willing to spend 6 months training and then do something very daft to raise awareness of this amazing charity. All we ask is that you give anything you can afford to help them. They are exceptional, please do what you can.
THANK YOU!
Jon, Simon and Mick
