DATE: 4th - 8th August 2009 CHALLENGE: Complete all peaks within 24hrs!! OUR AIM: To complete the three highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike), and Wales (Snowdon) To raise as much money as possible for one of Chris' favourite charities To laugh and to celebrate Chris' Birthday
All teams are well into their training now...getting some good hefty walks under their belt ready for the big peaks! The legs might ache in the morning but there is nothing that beats the feeling of getting to the top. Walks so far have included the Dorset Walk set up by the Fireservice (thanks Geordie) and various walks around Gloucestershire. One team member has even slipped in a 'Race for Life'!! Good work!
MASSIVE thanks to the Runnage crew that helped raise over £300 on the 'Gay Sailor' Weekend (19th - 21st June), the final total has increased since Saturday night; a final amount will be added to the site soon! Personal thanks goes to Hywel Jeffcott for allowing the rug on his chest to be thinned!
