Story

On the 14th June 2013 six men from Ballycastle Co Antrim, have now cycled from Ballycastle in County Mayo to Ballycastle County Antrim.

They started in Ballycastle County Mayo passing through Ballina, Sligo town, Bundoran, Donegal town, Letterkenny, Derry City, Limavady, Coleraine before making it home to Ballycastle in county Antirm, on all three days it lashed out down on us with serious rain and the lycra was tested to the max!!

This challenge taken on by James McAuley, Chris McAuley, Kevin McGarry Cormac McGarry, Tadgh Sands & Eamon Morgan averaged 80+ miles per day and we missed the company of are sidekick Seamus OIg blaney due to a serious shoulder injury but had to complete the distance for the cause.

We started in Ballycastle County Mayo and travelled through County Sligo,  into County Donegal before crossing into Derry City and reaching County Antrim on Sunday the 16th June, the weather never stopped for us but we made it to the diamond in Ballycastle to a crowd of family and friends delighted to see us and vice versa.

We are only a few pound short of are online target of £1000 so make it happen and complete this job for 2013.

A video diary has been added to the justgiving page to view so enjoy and see you for another challeneg 2014!!
