Thanks for visiting the Ballyholme Primary Marathon site and for helping to support the school and help us purchase a new Minibus!

Yes once again, the parents and teachers have decided to stay fit and healthy by running in the Belfast Marathon on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May 2009

This year we had in total 10 teams running (8 parents teams representing most classes in the school, one very strong staff team and another fast PTA team) 

Its also a great way for parents (and teachers!) to meet each other and maybe get away from the hard work of parenting for a while!

This year the runners have decided to donate 33% to a charity and the children's nominated charity this year is Barnardos.

For Ballyholme school this year the whole emphasis is on trying to get a new Minibus for the school so that our children can be transported comfortably and safely to all different events.
